and thank you for your interest in the Summer Youth Program. The Caribbean-American
Chamber of Commerce and the Caribbean Culture Youth Association is delighted to
share with you what we have planned for your family this year. Please note that
there are two programs. Camp Caribbean is a week long and the Caribbean Summer
Youth Program occurs on 2 weekends, one in July and one in August. We look forward
to sharing Caribbean culture with you soon!
We will be having an information session on our upcoming Caribbean Camp and Summer Youth Program on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at 2:00 PM. The session will be at the Grey-McKenzie Residence at 14435 Astrodome Drive Silver Spring, MD 20906. We are next to Plaza del Mercado near Layhill and Bel Pre Roads across from Argyle Middle School. Caribbean Caribbean Summer Youth Program*** Jul 28-29 OR Aug 18-19 (Saturday & Sunday) $35/child/weekend. Adult must accompany child. Saturday 8 AM to 8 PM Please plan to bring a dish for the Anansi Party. 8:00 to 9:30 Check-In and Breakfast 9:30 to 10:30 Activity: Speaker / Storytelling 10:30 to 12:00 Activity: Arts & Crafts 12:30 to 2:00 PM Activity: Social Dance, Maypole 2:30 to 4:00 Activity: Sports; Adult Program 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Snack, Quiet
